SHOULD I GO TO MED SCHOOL AND BECOME A DOCTOR?

Posted in Group:

Hey everybody, I am 29. I am not tooo old to go to med school. But I would need ADD medication in order to enroll and do well in and out of school. I would also probably have to take the medication for the rest of my life. I most definatly would become dependent on it, as i would be taking it everyday. Do you think, that i should do this? or should I stay off medication and do what I can and choose a career based on me not taking medication....any advice or comments would be appreciated. thanks.

If this is something you want to do and your meds will help, why the worry? If you getting the ADD medication through your doctor and you are regularly evaluated for any negative side effects, i would say follow your dreams!
